Debjani is a Specialist Rehabilitation Case Manager, providing comprehensive assessment and proactive case management for children and adults with complex orthopaedic, neurological (including acquired brain injury) and psychological injuries.
Debjani works closely with clients and their families, solicitors, and a variety of health and social care professionals to achieve rehabilitation goals set out by clients. She has worked with major injury services dealing with clients who have suffered severe trauma and catastrophic injuries such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, FND and amputations.
She also has extensive experience working in burns and plastics as part of a multidisciplinary team to treat and rehabilitate burn patients. This includes acute care, planning for surgery/skin grafting and flaps, post-surgical rehabilitation, and functional restoration, including vocational rehabilitation for clients following burn injuries. Debjani demonstrates strong proficiency in preparing detailed, evidence-based reports following extensive assessments.

A 19-year-old client was involved in a house fire and suffered 35% mixed depth burns to the face, upper limbs, hands and the lower part of both thighs and legs. He also suffered a right-sided pneumothorax and multiple right wrist fractures.
A 25-year-old woman was involved in a road traffic accident and suffered multiple injuries to her thorax including pneumothorax, multiple bilateral rib fractures, scapula fracture, surgical emphysema and a right lung contusion.
