Vipul is an experienced musculoskeletal (MSK) practitioner with clinical expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of MSK conditions across diverse patient populations. He has had a professional background as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP) for the last 3.5 years, in which he has played a key role in primary care settings, triaging patients, formulating management plans, and facilitating appropriate onward referrals.
Vipul works closely with insurance companies, where he has contributed to managing complex cases by providing detailed clinical reports, supporting rehabilitation plans, and ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders. He has a particular interest in holistic, patient-centred care, early intervention strategies, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and focuses on improving functional outcomes, supporting return-to-work processes, and enhancing the overall quality and efficiency of MSK case management services.
FCPs are highly experienced clinicians working within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals who can assess and diagnose a range of MSK conditions. They regularly provide advice, treatment plans, and arrange referrals to other specialist services or further investigations, including scans. Some may also undertake injections and prescribe medications.
