Expertise

Jenny has over 20 years as a Specialist Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist. Jenny’s working history includes work as an Elite Sports Physiotherapist which included working within disability sports for athletes who are wheelchair bound. Jenny has experience in providing digital and tele-health triage assessments for a range of complex patients with MSK related conditions including spinal, co-morbidities as well as and peripheral surgical procedures and rehabilitation.

Jenny also has over 15 years working as a researcher in health-related research, with many publications to her name including topics on Causation, Breach of Duty, Quantum, Screening Reports, and Condition Prognosis. Jenny is an experienced educator with roles as a lecturer in Sport Rehabilitation as Lecturing and module lead for Clinical Skills Neurology and Psychology at The University of Hull. She was also Course Director for MSc Physiotherapy at Teesside University where she taught across all pre and post graduate Physiotherapy programmes.

Jenny has worked as an expert witness physiotherapist for over 8 years, typically receiving between 20-30 instructions a year. Jenny has also worked with complex patients who have a combination of medico-legal, psycho-social and polypharmacy issues. Jenny has vast experience working with patients that have gone through a range of road traffic collisions and occupational related claims. She is able to write reports for insurance and health insurance companies.
