Rana is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with a strong background in conducting holistic patient assessment, care coordination, and multidisciplinary working. As a First Contact Practitioner (FCP) with over 15 years of clinical experience, Rana can identify a patient’s immediate and long-term needs, including physical and psychosocial health, social well-being, and safeguarding considerations.
His professional interests include comprehensive assessment, person-centered care planning, risk management, setting realistic goals, and interventions to achieve those goals. He has a particular interest in advocating for patients and consistently goes the extra mile to facilitate the best possible outcomes for his patients and clients. Rana focuses on integrating the biopsychosocial model into each individual’s recovery journey and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based case management to support optimal recovery and improve overall quality of life.
FCPs are highly experienced clinicians working within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals who can assess and diagnose a range of MSK conditions. They regularly provide advice, treatment plans, and arrange referrals to other specialist services or further investigations, including scans. Some may also undertake injections and prescribe medications.
