Expertise

Caroline qualified as an occupational therapist in 2002. Upon qualifying she worked in a rotational post within Swansea NHS Trust covering specialties in stroke rehabilitation, oncology and palliative care, general medicine and community EMI. She then went on to work as a locum occupational therapist working for NHS trusts within South Wales, Bristol and Swindon.   

Caroline has been working as a case manager with people who have experienced multiple fractures, psychological difficulties, spinal injuries, and soft tissue injuries. Caroline is well versed at working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with social workers, other therapists, care agencies and voluntary organisations to best meet the needs of her clients.  Caroline also has extensive experience of working with carers to help them to meet client’s needs in relation to manual handling, offering support with training and problem solving when it comes to the safest and most appropriate way to solve a person’s difficulties.
