Russell is a highly motivated, confident professional with excellent clinical knowledge and experience. Russell is an empathetic and effective communicator with extensive experience of managing clients with a wide range of complex presentations.
Russell trained as a physiotherapist at the University of East London and has since worked in the public and private sectors in the UK and USA. Russell is also a qualified personal trainer and sports coach.
Russell’s clinical experience and expertise is in management of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries (including brain injury and FND), persistent pain, functional rehabilitation, management of long-term conditions and disability.
Russell works with clients and their families from the initial needs assessment, setting realistic goals, coordinating and overseeing the clinical interventions and producing accurate succinct reports and updates to keep the interested parties fully informed. Russell will provide close support to the client and the family throughout their rehabilitation. Russell will coordinate the most appropriate multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of the injured person and will put the client and family at the centre of the planning and decision-making process.
